The ENYAQ iV series from ŠKODA is set to receive a number of specification and equipment upgrades for the 2023 Model Year package. A redesigned range of option packages, an upgraded battery management system and improvements to the infotainment unit are all included in the revisions for the all-electric SUV.

The most recent version of ŠKODA's MEB platform software (ME3), which features a number of changes and improvements, is included with all new ENYAQ iV devices. These allow for future over-the-air (OTA) operating system updates for the car.

Previously an optional extra, all ENYAQ iV models now come with Remote Access for three years as a standard feature. Customers can connect to the Remote Access feature using their smartphones to check the parking position and status of their car. This is in addition to the existing functions of the app, which includes departure planner, climate control and remote charging.

Creature comfort upgrades include ŠKODA's revamped navigation system and head-up display screen, along with visual enhancements to the infotainment screens for the heating and ventilation. ŠKODA will offer four trim grades for the 2023 ENYAQ iV models: Clever, Plus, Advanced, and Maxx.

The entry-level Clever Pack, priced at an additional £2,755, includes Advanced keyless entry, a Start/Stop system, privacy glass, acoustic side windows, driver alert, wireless charging and glasses storage compartment in the front centre armrest

ŠKODA’s ‘Assisted Drive Basic’ system is another facet of the Clever Pack, and consists of adaptive cruise control, Traffic Jam Assist, Blind Spot Detection and Crew Protect Assist. Climate Basic features include tri-zone climate control, heated front seats, and heated front washer nozzles.

The second trim level up - the Plus Package - offers headlight washers, full LED rear lights, and full LED Matrix beam headlights with adjustable light output. Additional inclusions are Emergency Assist, Lane Assist Plus with Narrow Lane Assist, and Urban Evasive Steering Support which are all part of the added Travel Assist feature.

Power-adjustable lumbar support for the driver’s seat, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, and an electrically operated tailgate with kick activation (virtual pedal) complete the round-up of additions, with the Plus Package costing an additional £4,830. The price of the Advanced Package, which includes Infotainment Plus with a head-up display, is £6,980. As part of its Climate Plus feature, the vehicle has heated front and rear seats, a heated windscreen, and the additional CANTON sound system.

Finally, an additional £9,375 gets you the top of the range Maxx Package with the Comfort Seat Plus option. Its defining traits are power-adjustable lumbar support and electrically adjustable memory function seats for both front passengers, and a massage function for the driver’s seat.

Drive Sport Plus has a dynamic chassis control system, a heated, 3-spoke leather sports multi-function steering wheel with paddle controls, and progressive steering. Additionally, Parking Plus offers trained parking, an area view camera, intelligent Park Assist, and rear side airbags.

An extended list of single options for the updated ENYAQ iV now features a panoramic sunroof (£855), heat pump (£1,025), tow bar (£815), partition net screen (£170) and iV universal charger (£680). Prices for the 2023 ENYAQ iV start at £38,480 OTR, and orders may be placed from now via ŠKODA’s official site.
