Premium electric car brand Polstar has collaborated with Allebike to build 100 special edition mountain bikes.

Made as a modified version of Allebike's adaptable Alpha model, this special edition Polestar edition features a custom-made, lightweight, rigid carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) frame - co-engineered and co-designed by Polestar and Allebike. 

Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar, said: "Attention to detail, design and technology is integral when we develop our cars. 

“We created the Allebike Alpha Polestar edition in the same spirit. 

Together with the great team at Allebike, we have crafted the perfect mountain bike for those who appreciate both a great ride and design."

Hill climbs are made easier by a more upright seating posture, while riding downhill is made more secure by a head tube angle of 65 degrees. 

The bike’s suspension features dampers from Öhlins, just like Polestar’s automobiles, which are said to have been precisely calibrated to provide the mountain bike with the best performance.

The Allebike Alpha Polestar edition is only offered in the matte exterior metallic colours of Snow and Space, matching Polestar cars in terms of colour. 

Dampers and other elements are painted in Swedish Gold, which is exclusive to the limited-edition mountain bike and matches the performance pack of the Polestar 2.

Only one size and two colours will be offered for just under £8,000, and will be available to buy from the end of summer 2022 on Polestar Additionals webshop.
