Wiesmann unveils three limited edition design concepts for Project Thunderball
The designs aim to showcase the personalisation potential of the brand's electric Project Thunderball hypercar
Luxury German car manufacturer Wiesmann has unveiled three limited edition Design Concepts inspired by its recently revealed electric hypercar, Project Thunderball.
Created in collaboration with global design studio Studiokurbos, the bespoke designs aim to inspire clients as they begin their own co-creation journey with Wiesmann, and showcase the many individual and versatile ways in which Project Thunderball can be personalised.
The first design concept has the car finished in an ocean blue metallic paint, while the interior has vibrant orange leathers and high-gloss teak accents.
The second design gives the car a more opulent look. With a bold golden-hued exterior, this concept is said to have been inspired by the roaring twenties as well as the flashy style of fictional millionaire, Jay Gatsby.
Inside, the interior features deep burgundy leather throughout and matte velvet details
Inspired by the “dark night and heroes of the darkness,” the third concept delivers a more stealthy look. It features a matt black exterior with gloss details, a matt black leather interior, and anodised detailing and gloss carbon fibre surrounds.
The Project Thunderball features an all-electric powertrain that uses two motors to create a combined output of 671bhp and 811 lb ft of torque. As a result, the car is claimed to achieve the 0-62mph sprint in just 2.9 seconds.
It is powered by an 83kWh battery which has an 800V high-voltage architecture, enabling a range of over 300 miles and ultra-fast charging.
Wiesmann says the car’s entire first year of production of its Project Thunderball has already sold out, and that deliveries will commence in 2024.
