Skoda has announced final UK specifications and pricing for its Enyaq iV vRS, the second all-electric model to wear the brand's vRS badge.

Positioned as the sporty flagship of the Enyaq iV range, the vRS model will be priced from £52,670, while the coupe version comes in slightly less at £51,885. Both will be available to order from January 17, 2023.

The Enyaq iV vRS is fitted with an 82kWh (77kWh net) battery pack and has a WLTP driving range of 321 miles. It can be DC charged at speeds of up to 135kW, meaning a 10 to 80 percent charge can be achieved in a claimed 36 minutes. On a standard 7.2kW home wallbox, a full charge takes around 13 hours.

In terms of performance, it has a power output of 294bhp and is equipped with twin motors on each axle delivering 460 Nm of torque - enough to do 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds, before reaching its limited top speed of 111mph.

As the vRS badge would suggest, this performance-focused  version also features a bespoke chassis set up for ‘enhanced responsiveness’.

The vehicle also sports suspension that lowers the body by 15mm at the front and 10mm at the rear, along with progressive steering as standard.

Like the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX, Drive Mode Select offers predefined profiles including Eco, Normal and Sport.

An optional Dynamic Chassis Control system allows for a Comfort driving mode and adaptive damping - a feature designed to improve comfort and handling. There is also a Traction Mode on offer for driving on unpaved roads or slippery surfaces.

To differentiate the car from the standard versions, the vRS variant rides on 20-inch Taurus alloy wheels, while larger 21-inch wheels with an anthracite finish can be selected as an option.

For a more muscular look, the car also sports vRS sports bumpers front and rear, while the front end is dominated by Skoda’s ‘Crystal Face’ grille, which is illuminated by 131 LEDs, and is framed with gloss black surrounds.

The car's window trims and tailgate lettering are also finished in gloss black.

The interior has also been given the vRS treatment, featuring sportier leather seats and steering wheel, and contrasting stitching throughout.

On board standard equipment includes three-zone climate control, LED ambient lighting that also lights up the dashboard and door panels, as well as wireless smartphone charging.

First UK deliveries of the new Enyaq iV vRS are expected from June 2023.
