Tesla Model 3 facelift revealed with improved range and tech
Tesla’s updated Model 3 goes on sale in UK in early 2023, priced from £41,990
The Tesla Model 3 has received a mid-life facelift, bringing with it a number of improvements to the electric car's range, technology and refinement.
The most obvious changes are to the exterior, which sees a new front bumper and grille, as well as revised headlights and taillights. The interior has also been given a subtle makeover, with new upholstery and trim options.
But the biggest news is the improved range. The Long Range Model 3 now has a range of 358 miles, up from 358 miles previously. The Performance Model has also been given a range boost, now offering 315 miles on a single charge.
The Model 3 also gets a number of new tech features, including a larger 15-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new augmented reality head-up display and improved driver assistance systems.
The facelifted Model 3 is due to go on sale in the UK in early 2024. Prices start at £41,990 for the Standard Range Plus model, rising to £58,990 for the Performance model.
Tesla's Model 3 is the American firm's most popular car, and the latest upgrades are likely to help it maintain its dominance in the electric car market. The car faces increasing competition from rivals such as the BMW i4 and Polestar 2, but the improvements made to the Model 3 should help it remain competitive.
