A Chinese electric mobility specialist has partnered with Porsche to develop a high-performance e-scooter which hopes to conquer the European market.

Said to have been “inspired by the sculptural and elegant forms of sports cars," the Yadea F200 was designed in collaboration with Porsche’s design centre, in a bid to create a ‘sleek and streamlined’ silhouette.

Although specific details about its official launch, pricing, and availability remain undisclosed, the company has released details on its specification.

Its electric motor makes up to 14.7hp and 236 Nm of torque, meaning a 0 to 30mph sprint in a mere 2.5 seconds, before reaching its top speed of 62mph.

Powering the scooter is a discreetly located dual-battery pack beneath the fairing, offering a claimed range of 80 miles on a single charge.

It is Yadea’s most potent electric scooter in the L3e category, encompassing electric scooters with performance levels comparable to 125cc gas-powered equivalents.

The vehicle also boasts up to 31 litres of storage under the seat, and a 7.5-inch TFT instrument panel can be found up front displaying speed and battery percentage.
