Sharp expands e-scooter line-up with new KS3 and KS4 models
The japanese tech company known for televisions entered the e-mobility sector last year
Sharp has extended its range of e-scooters with the launch of the KS3 and KS4 models.
The Japanese tech firm, which is well-known for its high-end home audio and televisions, entered the e-mobility sector last year with its KS1 and KS2 e-scooters.
The KS3 model has a 7.5Ah battery linked to a 350W motor, which provides a range of up to 15 miles and a maximum speed of 15.5mph.
It has honeycomb tyres that measure 8.5-inch and can be charged for roughly four to five hours.
The KS4 on the other hand is the company’s latest top-of-the range model. It adopts the same motor as the KS3, but boasts a larger digital display and a 10Ah battery, meaning a 24 mile range from a full charge.
It also rides on 10-inch wheels for a more comfortable ride, a phone holder and a USB charging port. Turning indicators also feature on both models.
In addition to the above e-scooters, Sharp also provides a Life smartphone app, which enables riders to control the e-scooter's settings and select various riding modes.
The KS3 starts at £549, while the KS4 is priced from £699, and both models will be available on Amazon and Euronics, starting in May.
