Toyota has revealed a concept for an electric Land Cruiser at the 2023 Tokyo Motor Show, confirming plans to bring electrification to the iconic off-roader.
Measuring 5,150mm long, 1,990mm wide and 1,705mm tall, The Land Cruiser Se, boasts seats for seven, and features what Toyota describes as an "elegant, stylish design".
It has a long wheelbase, sloping roofline and blacked-out C-pillars, and rides on large wheels with road-biased tyres.
No battery or powertrain information has been confirmed at this time, though Toyota does say the car delivers a "high-torque driving performance unique to BEVs".
The Se concept is one of four new concept cars that Toyota will reveal at the 2023 Tokyo Motor Show. The others include a mid-size electric pick-up truck, an FT-Se sports car and an FT-3e SUV.
They come following the recently unveiled Toyota Hilux GR Sport II, the first GR-badged peformance pick-up truck from the Japanese firm.
